Will somebody remind our illustrious self-centered representatives that they work for us. When did it become unfashionable to do the right thing? What is the role of our goverment, if not to help its citizens. When did it become a free for all, survival of the fittest? Do people not understand that by having healthy, educated neighbors with a passable standard of living, their own lives become better and SAFER. The hypocrits in the Republican party seem only to care about how we are born and how we die (see Roe v Wade/ see Terry Schiavo). What happens in between is your problem. Pandering to a mind set that is coagulated in myth unfortunately does work.

God will not ask you what you did with your money, he will ask you what you've done about happiness.......Facundo Cabral, Argentina's troubadour and one of those voices that offers thoughts that ground us.....so what brings me here......FRUSTRATION with the way things are going..... tired of getting abused by our selected representatives whose priority is self preservation instead of resolving the real HARD issues that confront us.......FRUSTRATED with the LATTE generation who feels good about sitting in STARXUCKS with their laptops looking busy but actually float around like bumblebees waiting for a Michael Moore to tell them that the froth is not good.....while the LATTE'S are getting stroked, their future is being mortgaged by those in power today......CHENEY WHO IS THE REAL PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE AMERICA, AND THE NUMBER ONE LOBBYIST FOR THEM, has done a marvelous job in screwing us all....LOOK AROUND what works? any sector of the service economy you can claim is better than yesterday? any sector of any industry that anyone can point where the results and products are better?....any greater license to steal than the one granted to insurance companies who toy with our lives?
